Wyoming Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine Association Mission
To support the independent Wyoming lifestyle and values among Wyoming’s acupuncture and Oriental medicine practitioner community.  

To provide a professional organization with membership exclusively for practitioners that have graduated from an accredited college or university of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine with a minimum of 3,500 hours of education in the field of AOM.

To provide a collective body of indepedent Wyoming acupuncture and Oriental medicine practitioners that help to establish highest standards of care, eduatin a traning in the practice of acupuncture and Oriental medicine in Wyoming.

To help define acupuncture and Oriental medicine practice in Wyoming.

To promote and support the practice of evidence based medicine in acupuncture and Oriental medicine by providing continuing education opportunities for members and the general acupuncture community. 

To support clinical research in the practice of AOM.

To provide education to the general public in Wyoming regarding the benefits of acupuncture and Oriental medicine and its place in integrativeand hehcare.

To provide the public with referrals to AOM practitioners in their local communities that meet the standards of the association.

To support standardized fee schedules for the practice of AOM in the state of Wyoming.

To support business development and job creation within the AOM profession in Wyoming.

To provide leadership, direction and vision for the continued development of AOM profession in Wyoming.
